Travel industry insurance brokers Arnold Fisher Insurance Services have acquired the book of business and personnel of Bonding Insurance Agencies, specialist bond broker for the travel industry.

The acquisition was timed ahead of the September bond renewal season, to ensure that facilities and lines of insurance were in place for the peak bonding renewal period. There are long term question marks over the future of the bond market. Stuart commented, “The proposed “levy” is years away, the Treasury have done their sums and they are miles apart from the CAA’s. It will take years for all parties to agree a formula for travel bonds, meanwhile agents and operators still have to bonded. Insurance bonding offers a sustainable solution freeing up business capital, which is put to better use in the clients business.”
